He will be missed, no doubt. Mad props to someone who could stare down death so many times, and then live to a ripe old age to die peacefully. That guy really made the best out of life, IMO. Oh, and I think it's spelled Evel Knievel.

It wasn't old age he died of, he died of a mixture of diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis that he'd been suffering from for years.

Yeah, that kinda detracts from his whole image, doesn't it?

I mean if you know you're dying, logic would dictate that you could do more dangerous stunts without fear. If nothing else it's better than just [skill]wither[/skill]ing away on some hospital bed somewhere....
